About The Position

The Foundation Laborer II is a skilled position required to operate and maintain various equipment, load and unload materials, and assist the Foreman and other skilled tradesmen while supporting the overall project. Essential Functions: Set up transits Move equipment down the ROW Rub and patch foundations Install chamfer edge and finish wet concrete Direct concrete trucks to pour location Operate backhoes and forklifts Haul tools and materials such as rebar cages, bolt cages, casing Drive concrete trucks, diggers, water trucks, cranes, and other equipment Capable of receiving and following directions Possess a basic knowledge of materials used in line work. Understand when to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to work outside, frequently in inclement weather. Perform all other related work as required to complete the job.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of two years’ experience as a foundation laborer
  • Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
  • Able to read and communicate effectively in English
  • Able to work for extended periods in various locations, when required.
  • Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
  • Willing to work overtime when requested.
  • Willing to work outside of the normal work schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required for the position.
  • Must be able to follow Company safety rules and all other Company policies.
