Our Foster Program Representative will have the opportunity to oversee and manage animals that are currently in the foster program at the Helen Woodward Animal Center. As a liaison between foster families, the adoptions department and other departments within the center, our Foster Program Representative will be able to make a positive difference in the world in a professional role that is central to our mission of helping animals and people locally, nationally and across the world. As a Foster Program Representative, you will gain experience coordinating with potential foster families via email, Facebook and by phone to provide high quality foster homes for incoming animals. You will ensure that all foster volunteers are well-trained by providing on-site training for new foster volunteers, maintaining training materials and effectively conveying Center policies and protocols. Maintaining compliance and professionalism are key in this role. This position would be well suited for a person who enjoys collaborating professionally with others and is well-organized, as our Foster Program Representative will be responsible for record keeping and maintaining inventory of foster program supplies and outreach.
