About The Position

The Foster Home Recruiter is responsible for the onboarding and recruitment of new foster parents for the FFC program. Serves as first person to vet prospective foster parents for program. Participates in recruitment activities, responds to inquiries, registers prospective FP’s for orientation and trainings, conducts FP Orientation and other trainings as needed and collects all mandated documentation needed for FP licensure. Track all recruitment efforts and meet milestones set forth by agency and ACS. Represents the agency at community functions and communicates CV values and expectations to prospective foster families.

Requirements

  • BA/BS with one year experience in child welfare preferred; AA or equivalent credits with two years experience in child welfare will also be considered
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, writing and computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • Training and/or homefinding experience preferred
  • MAPP and/or TRIPP certification preferred
