About The Position

Be the Voice of Hope – Become a Foster Family Services Consultant in Omaha, NE! Starting Pay: $20-22/hour Based on experience Full-Time Shifts: Primarily weekdays with on-call rotation (some early mornings/evenings required) Are you passionate about supporting children and families? Requirements

• Bachelor's in Human Services or related field
• 1+ year experience working with children and families
• Ability to provide own transportation to complete travel requirements of job required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and pass an annual Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) check required.
• Meet auto insurance requirements established by Boys Town policy and/or State and Local laws required.
• Available rotationally to provide crisis response and must be available to work non-traditional business hours including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays required.
• Ability to work in high-stress situations and diverse environments
• Must travel to homes and community settings, including those with pets or poor living conditions

Responsibilities

• Coordinate foster care placements and develop individualized service plans
• Set and evaluate short- and long-term goals for each child
• Monitor and support foster families through regular visits and training
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and community professionals
• Respond to client emergencies and assist in reunification or aftercare services
