Facilitates community presentations; collaborates/coordinates with partner, community and professional organizations to attract and engage prospective foster families; employee's community-based recruitment events; performs direct client contact to educate and guide individual prospective foster families through initial application activities. May work closely with public relations employees, and program leadership. Participates in data collection and reporting activities. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marketing or related field required
  • Requires a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, minimum liability insurance coverage and the ability to be insured by the CHHS auto insurance carrier.
  • Strong internal and external verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Basic computer skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marketing or related field preferred.
  • Child Welfare, Foster Care Licensing and/or Adoption experience preferred.
  • Experience working with families of diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds strongly preferred
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Public speaking experience preferred.
  • Flexible 1st shift schedule may include evening or weekend hours based on client and contractor needs.
