Located in Kennesaw, Georgia, this position is responsible for overseeing the administration and coordination of foster care services within the region, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies. Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field (a Master's degree is often preferred).
  • At least two years of experience in foster care or a related field, with a focus on administration and management.
  • Strong knowledge of laws and regulations related to foster care and child welfare.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage staff and coordinate services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with data management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the administration and coordination of foster care services within the region.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
  • Supervising and supporting staff involved in the foster care program.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve service delivery.
  • Managing budgets and resources to ensure efficient operation of the program.
  • Collaborating with community agencies and stakeholders to enhance services and support for foster families.
  • Monitoring and evaluating program performance to ensure quality and effectiveness.
  • Providing training and professional development opportunities for staff.
  • Handling escalated issues and concerns related to foster care services.
