Foster Care Driver
About The Position
Ohio Mentor, a part of the Sevita family, provides Residential and Treatment Foster Care services to youth who may be facing out-of-home placements, transitioning back into the family home or independent living alternatives, or involved in the juvenile justice system. Through personalized programming, they help youth gain stability, comfort and confidence to overcome all challenges and live well. As a Driver, the role involves safely transporting children in foster care to court-ordered family visits in a company van. This position is ideal for someone reliable, flexible, compassionate, and committed to supporting children and families. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must be 21 years of age
- Educated/trained in mental health competencies
- Valid driver's license in good standing and car registration/auto insurance (if driving for company)
- A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
- Commitment to the company’s mission and values
- Exceptional communication skills with an ability to establish trust and rapport quickly
Nice To Haves
- Six months of human services experience preferred
