As part of our team, you'll promote social justice for youth in foster care, juvenile justice, or experiencing homelessness. What You'll Do As a Foster Care Coordinator, your role is dynamic-balancing time between working on-site and out in the community supporting foster families. A typical day might include: Checking in with program staff to identify foster parent support needs Meeting with the training team to plan sessions and develop content Driving to foster homes to provide in-person coaching Debriefing with foster parents and offering guidance on behavior strategies Preparing for upcoming trainings on trauma-informed parenting What We're Looking For
Requirements
- Master's in social work or related field OR bachelor's + 2 years' experience with youth care. Or 4 years of direct experience
- Knowledge of child welfare, mental health, and trauma-informed practices.
- Strong communication and organizational skills .
- Flexible schedule and ability to travel locally.
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and clean driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in coaching, training, or supporting caregivers (preferred).
