About The Position

A Foster Care Case Aide plays a vital role in supporting the well-being of children and families involved in the foster care system. Acting as a key support to caseworkers, the Case Aide helps transports children to appointments, and assists with essential documentation and communication. Their work ensures continuity of care, emotional stability for the child, and a smoother process for reunification or placement. Compassionate, dependable, and organized, Foster Care Case Aides help keep the system running and children safe and supported during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives.

Requirements

High School Degree or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
State Police, FBI, and Child Abuse Clearances are required for this position and will be paid for by the agency

Nice To Haves

Prefer Undergraduate credits and active pursuit of a Bachelor’s level degree in the Social Services Field

Responsibilities

Assist the Case Manager with case management services
Review client and family files for compliance purposes
Transport Clients and Families, as needed
Prepare and submit required reports and other documentation in a timely fashion
Attend meetings, conferences, trainings, and other agency functions, as required.
Show sensitivity to problems and work toward solving them in a resourceful way.
Provide for the safety and welfare of a child or children as would a parent.
Perform all other duties as outlined by the Program Office Supervisor that are within reason in supporting the successful operation of the foster care agency
