About The Position

The Forklift Operator position at Tyson involves ensuring timely loading of trailers and maintaining inventory flow in the warehouse. The role requires operating forklifts safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and handling physical tasks associated with material handling.

Requirements

• 6 months of forklift experience.
• Ability to work in extreme cold, dry environments (32 to 40 degrees).
• Capability to use hands and arms above shoulder level.
• Ability to stand for 8-12 hours a day.
• Willingness to work with beef, chicken, and pork products.

Responsibilities

• Log into the forklift and answer all safety check questions accurately.
• Use the forklift to move pallets in the warehouse and load or unload trailers.
• Maintain safe driving standards at all times.
• Report any damage, accidents, or impacts to management.
• Lift boxes weighing up to 100 pounds and adjust and hand-wrap pallets.
