Forward Deployed Engineer
About The Position
Coframe is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to develop custom integrations, workflows, and lead new solutions for strategic enterprise customers. This is a highly technical, high-trust role that sits between engineering, product, and customers. You will help solve complex enterprise problems directly while shaping how Coframe expands into larger accounts. At Coframe, the company is building a future where user and agent interfaces can adapt, evolve, and personalize themselves. Coframe is a primarily in-person company based in San Francisco, well-capitalized with backing from Khosla Ventures, Nat Friedman, the founder of Android, and others. They are generating revenue, growing rapidly, and trusted by well-known companies. The team is small and talent-dense, consisting of competitive programmers, former founders, and AI researchers from top institutions who have created some of the most popular OSS code generation projects.
Requirements
- Experience with enterprise martech stacks and customer systems
- Strong software engineering skills and ability to ship viable solutions
- Strong communication with executives, operators, and technical teams
- Experience launching new products or capabilities in enterprise environments
- High ownership and comfort working with ambiguity
- Strong product and business sense for identifying the highest-value opportunities
- Ability to balance speed, trust, and long-term scalability
Nice To Haves
- Experience building or scaling an enterprise company in this space is a major plus
Responsibilities
- Build custom integrations and solutions for enterprise customers
- Work directly with customers to understand workflows and technical constraints
- Travel on-site to customer
- Partner with internal engineering teams on implementation strategy
- Resolve complex technical blockers during deployments and growth phases
- Represent engineering in high-value customer relationships
- Help shape expansion opportunities inside strategic accounts
- Help guide product direction based on real customer demand
