About The Position

Strider Technologies is on a mission to deliver strategic intelligence that enables faster, more confident decision-making for organizations around the world. As the leading strategic intelligence company, Strider empowers organizations to secure and advance their technology and innovation. We leverage cutting-edge AI technology and proprietary methodologies to transform publicly available data into critical insights. These insights enable organizations to proactively address and respond to risks associated with state-sponsored intellectual property theft, targeted talent acquisition, and supply chain vulnerabilities. Strider is seeking a mission-driven Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to deliver cutting-edge technical solutions in dynamic, high-stakes environments. As a key member of our deployment team, you'll bridge the gap between our advanced platform and real-world mission requirements-embedding with customers, engineering bespoke solutions, and serving as a trusted technical partner. This is a unique opportunity to directly impact national security and commercial innovation while helping shape Strider's future product development. If you thrive on building in the field, solving critical problems, and working side-by-side with analysts and operators, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on full-stack or systems-level development.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar languages.
  • Experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), APIs, and modern front-end frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to rapidly prototype, iterate, and deploy in fast-paced environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or evolving mission contexts.
  • Willingness to travel 30-70% of the time based on mission requirements.
  • Active Level 3 security clearance or eligibility to obtain one strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, and deploy mission-aligned software solutions in government and commercial environments.
  • Collaborate with operators, analysts, and executives to translate evolving requirements into actionable technical outcomes.
  • Integrate Strider's platform with diverse data sources, internal workflows, and external IT systems.
  • Build custom applications, features, and data pipelines that unlock insights from unstructured, multi-lingual datasets.
  • Serve as Strider's technical lead in the field, owning project outcomes from inception to implementation.
  • Prototype quickly and iterate continuously, adapting to high-priority demands and real-time feedback.
  • Provide critical field insights to inform and influence Strider's internal product roadmap.
