We’re looking for a self-starter, to work both as part of the team and on individual assignments, in an environment of customer mission delivery, integrity, and communications. We’re looking to fill this role with someone who currently has the experience, certifications, and skills to execute in large environments, is flexible and enjoys tackling challenges, and desires to join a large team that is building and sustaining a large, multi-tenant cloud platform/enterprise and migrating/expanding/automating the enterprise. HOW A FORTINET & NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE EXPERT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Extensive knowledge of FortiGate firewall platforms (physical/virtual/Multi VDOM) Expert knowledge of BGP to include design, implementation, and troubleshooting The ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot IPSEC tunnels between Fortigates and other common platforms (AWS, Palo Alto, and Check Point) Knowledge of FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer to include deployment and daily maintenance. Operational knowledge of AWS Networking to include Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Security Groups, Route Tables, Cloud watch logs, Application Load Balancers, Network Load balancers Knowledge of operating in an environment with IPV6 and IPV4 Work across teams, and external customer groups to develop strategy, design solutions, and advise implementation teams during infrastructure buildouts Deal with escalations. Make assessments, recommendations or provide solutions to resolve issues May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals

Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in network engineering required, with at least 3 years focused on FortiGate Firewalls and BGP
  • Networking (Routing, Firewall, and Switching)
  • FortiGate Firewalls and BGP
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a position of Public Trust
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience delivering presentations to diverse audiences at various levels of an organization

Responsibilities
