About The Position

Forte Prep is looking for up to 2 additional Associate Teachers to join our Forte Fellows Program during the 2026-2027 school year. You will help create a school that will change the game for students in Queens.

Requirements

• One year of teaching experience
• Energy and entrepreneurial spirit for a start-up charter school
• Team-oriented individual with experience working with children
• A bachelor’s degree is required
• Ability to reliably commute or relocate before starting work is required.

• Teaching certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Supports full-time teaching staff in classroom and grading
• Leads small group tutoring under supervision of teacher
