About The Position

The Formulator position at AOC, LLC involves operating equipment to manufacture thinned and blended resin products while adhering to quality system requirements. The role is critical in ensuring that formulations are followed and that the final products meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, physical and visual tests on resins and make adjustments to product batches based on test results.
• Ensure that customer requirements are adhered to prior to the shipment of product and communicate with various parties to ensure quality system requirements are met.
• Prepare tankers and drums and load finished products.
• Deliver samples to the Quality Assurance Laboratory and enter data into the plant quality system.
• Analyze test data to determine ingredient adjustments, trends, and possible problem areas for product and process quality assurance.
• Advise appropriate personnel of test results that do not meet product or process requirements.
• Operate and perform preventive maintenance on assigned production, support, testing equipment and supplies.
• Inspect tankers prior to loading, load and seal tankers.
