About The Position

The general purpose of the Formulator is to retrieve, weigh, and palletize raw ingredients needed for seasoning batches according to the batch formula, using calibrated scales, tools, and laboratory equipment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or relative work experience
  • Basic math skills
  • Able to work 40+ hours per week on their feet in a manufacturing environment
  • Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. frequently
  • Walk long distances repeatedly, bend, stoop, climb stairs or ladders
  • Work in an environment that is dusty and may contain spices with high heat
  • Regular stooping, kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching, handling
  • Talking/ hearing conversations
  • Vision requirements: near and far visual acuity/visual accommodation
  • Ability to work in cold and hot temperatures

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years warehouse experience preferred
  • Experience picking, material handling, and order selection of materials preferred
  • Prior forklift training and certification preferred
  • Strong oral comprehension and expression skills
  • Dependability with a sense of urgency

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve raw materials and ingredients from warehouse rack locations
  • Accurately weigh, label, and palletize seasoning batches needed for production
  • Follow production schedule and complete the formulation of seasoning batches based on the order the batches will be produced
  • Operate forklift equipment
  • Properly seal and return all unused materials to the correct warehouse location
  • Must be available to work overtime when called for by business need
  • Other duties as assigned
