About The Position
As a world market leader in crop protection, Syngenta Crop Protection helps farmers counter threats to ensure enough safe, nutritious, affordable food for all while minimizing the use of land and other agricultural inputs. The company operates various types of formulating equipment and is responsible for keeping plants safe from planting to harvesting. This role involves performing routine and non-routine operations safely and efficiently, troubleshooting equipment, and effectively using safety equipment such as respirators and protective clothing. Operators will follow standard work to maintain formulation batch cycle time and provide feedback when processes do not meet cycle time. Additionally, the role includes operating forklifts, monitoring instruments, and participating in audits and incident reporting.
