Formulations Intern Kalamazoo - Downtown Portage Street Role Description: Formulations Intern Zoetis is the largest animal health company in the world, with an industry-leading veterinary medicine research and development team. We seek a talented formulation scientist to join and actively contribute to our research and development team’s efforts to develop novel veterinary therapeutics.

Support research and development of novel pharmaceutical drug products and vaccines, including sterile liquids, lyophilized products, oral solids, suspensions, topicals, and various other dosage forms.
Execute and assist in laboratory experiments and operate equipment under supervision of senior colleagues.
Learn and execute drug product formulation techniques.
Perform testing on pharmaceutical drug products and vaccines.
Operate freeze-drying/lyophilization equipment.

Currently enrolled in or recently completed collegiate BS program in chemistry, pharmaceutics, chemical/biomedical engineering, or related field.
Experience working in laboratory environment and operating common laboratory equipment.
Experience authoring scientific technical documents.
Effective communication skills.
Experience working in matrix-like teams and collaborating with diverse scientists.

Experience or familiarity with pharmaceutical freeze-dryings / lyophilization.
