About The Position
This position is responsible for manually and mechanically cleaning equipment in the Formulation area while adhering to safety and quality standards Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Scrape, chisel and brush all contact surfaces on Formulation equipment to remove material Sweep, vacuum and remove all powder material from equipment, floors, pipes, etc. Maintain a strong understanding of the mechanical operation of the Soft Line Ability to be trained on equipment operation within the Formulation area of the Soft Line (Formulation Operator) Ability to operate Formulation equipment Perform Lockout Tagout Handle chemicals Keep work area clean and orderly Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Utility Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Wear a respirator full duration of shift Additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operation
- Ability to become certified in Lockout Tagout
- Ability to become certified in Chemical Handling
- Basic computer skills
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- N/A

- Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises
