Formulation Technician II (12hr Nights, 2-2-3)
About The Position
As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, the Formulation Technician II will discover meaningful work that makes a positive impact on a global scale, contributing to the mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. This role involves producing sterile injectables and working on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. The colleague will follow written and verbal instructions when performing duties, contributing to solutions for global challenges like protecting the environment, ensuring food safety, or finding cures for cancer.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
- Excels in a team environment
- Basic math skills
- Good verbal/written communication
- Attention to detail while maintaining a quality product
- Ability to perform repetitive work duties
- Ability to follow SOPs
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a cGMP environment
Responsibilities
- Ensure pharmaceutical products are manufactured in accordance with area SOPs and current cGMP
- Verify and document production activities in batch records, logbooks and controlled forms
- Complete tasks vital to manufacture drug products in an aseptic filling area, including: Cleaning cGMP Areas
- Perform line changeovers
- Parts Preparation
- Filter Integrity Testing
- Operating Parts Washers and Autoclaves
- Performing Tray Loading and Unloading
- Operating the Filling Isolator
- General Material Handling
- Troubleshooting Equipment Alarms
