Adecco is currently assisting an American supplier of scientific instrumentation, reagents and consumables, and software services in recruiting for the position of Formulation Technician I in Cincinnati, OH. This role is crucial in the manufacturing process of dehydrated culture media and liquid media, ensuring that all procedures are followed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and departmental procedures. The technician will be responsible for the staging and weighing of raw materials, which can range from micrograms to kilograms, as well as milling, blending, and aseptic liquid filling. The position requires diligent process control monitoring and thorough documentation of all procedures to maintain compliance with production schedules. The Formulation Technician I will also be tasked with cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and assisting in the maintenance of equipment. This includes maintaining logs and records related to equipment performance and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Safety is a top priority, and the technician must handle raw materials according to GMP and safety requirements, ensuring that all tasks are performed in a safe and responsible manner to foster an injury-free workplace. Effective communication and teamwork are essential, as the technician will be expected to promote a positive team environment through good communication and engagement with colleagues. The role may require overtime as needed to meet production demands.
