We are looking for Data Analyst to organize, consolidate, validate, and migrate formulation data into a new formulation software platform. This role will also support system testing to ensure data accuracy, functionality, and compliance with cosmetic industry standards. The ideal candidate has strong data analysis and data management skills and understanding of cosmetic formulations and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Biology or a related scientic field.
  • Experience in data cleansing, data entry, or data migration projects
  • Familiarity with cosmetic regulations, formulation, ingredients, or cosmetic R&D data
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or similar) and database systems
  • High accuracy and quality-focused mindset
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage repetitive tasks
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cosmetic formulation software (e.g., formulation management systems, PLM, or LIMS or Cosmetri)
  • Ability to follow structured procedures and document work clearly
  • Basic understanding of software testing methodologies
  • Experience working in cosmetics, personal care, or related industries

Responsibilities

  • Cleanse, standardize, and validate existing formulation and ingredient data
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies or errors
  • Verify formulation calculations, ingredient specifications, and compliance rules
  • Prepare and upload data into new cosmetic formulation software
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all migrated data
  • Map data fields to new system requirements
  • Document data processes, testing results, and system issues
  • Collaborate with formulators, regulatory, and IT teams as needed
  • Maintain data integrity and confidentiality throughout the migration process
