About The Position

Sets up and runs production equipment according to job traveler and Standard Operating Conditions Enters data into a computer Works with pigment and resin formulation Follows recipes or formulas for various compounds Gauges and calibrates process equipment Documents the overall production process including potential defects Frequently and safely lifts up to 50 pounds Follows general housekeeping rules Follows all safety guidelines and company procedures Acts as a leadership resource to provide knowledge, advice, experience, etc. Maintains communication with all departments to ensure efficiency Monitors production and manages the overall process Performs on-the-job training as assigned Reviews weekly punch reports with staff and returns the signed copy to Human Resources Alerts the Facilities Manager with safety concerns Enforces all company policies and procedures Coaches team to ensure optimal performance Alerts Human Resources with any personnel concerns This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Knowledge of how to drive a fork truck
  • Familiar with an ERP/Shop Floor Entry system
  • Knowledge of quality assurance
  • Familiar with 5S
  • Basic math skills
