At Litehouse, we're searching for a Formulation I team member to help us deliver excellence-one batch at a time. About Litehouse Foods Litehouse started in the Hope, Idaho restaurant of the Hawkins family 60 years ago. Since that time, we have become the leader in refrigerated salad dressings, dips, sauces, herbs, and cheese, manufacturing these delicious products at our four U.S. facilities based in Michigan, Utah, Virginia, and Idaho. Litehouse offers its diverse portfolio of products through general retail, e-commerce, foodservice, deli, member stores, and value-added goods where Litehouse products are featured in meal and salad kits. We keep a strong commitment to our employees and the communities in which we operate.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Less than 1 year of experience? No problem-we'll train you!
  • Basic understanding of food safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Knowledge of FEFO inventory practices, ingredient handling, and batch preparation
  • Physical stamina to lift and transport materials and the visual/mathematical literacy to do it right
  • Awareness of safety standards, including hazardous material handling and use of PPE

Nice To Haves

  • Bonus if you're certified in forklifts, pallet jacks, or drum haulers (but we can help with that too)

Responsibilities

  • Measure & Mix with Accuracy : Retrieve and prepare dry/wet ingredients for production following precise instructions.
  • Document the Details : Log every step according to GMP -because quality starts with great records.
  • Clean & Sanitize Like a Pro : Keep equipment, tanks, filters, and workspaces spotless and safe.
  • Check the Quality : Perform in-process checks to ensure every product meets our gold standard.
  • Stay Connected : Communicate issues, equipment concerns, and improvements with your team and supervisors.
