Formsetter POSITION PURPOSE The Form setter works as a member of a team to complete the setup and pour processes for various product types.

Requirements

Able to read a tape measure
Able to use standard construction tools
Able to read blueprints and shop tickets
Able to work on a team
Highly dependable with strong work ethic
Able to understand, follow, and convey verbal instructions
Able to adapt to changes in work schedules, tasks, or processes
Values and demonstrates safe working behaviors
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
1-2 years of previous general construction experience preferred

Responsibilities

Housekeeping as necessary to maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
Collect and prepare materials as directed
Prepare and clean forms
Read blueprints and shop tickets
Identify and report shop ticket errors
Measure and marks locations for placement of items in forms
Direct or assist with concrete pours as needed
Direct or assist with raking, screeding, and leveling concrete as needed
Operate various types of equipment such as hoists, overhead cranes, hand and power tools
Must adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations
