Requirements

• The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), minimum of six years related experience and/or training, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess the ability to read analyze, and interpret documents such as construction drawings, safety manuals, operating and maintenance instructions as well as procedure manuals.
• Must have basic mathematical skills, including ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or other forms.

Responsibilities

• Constructing and setting forms for concrete building foundations
• Operates miscellaneous equipment such as concrete trowels and power tools such as circular saws, drills, concrete vibrator and chipping hammers, etc.
• Wrecks concrete forms.
• Places and finishes concrete in walls and flatwork.
• Sets and aligns anchor bolts.
• Ties reinforcing steel (rebar).
• Preforms work in accordance with industry and company standards.
• Other duties may be assigned.
