Forklift Training Program – Warehouse (Unpaid, Free Training Opportunity)
About The Position
The Wonderful Career Center (WCC) is offering a free Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training program to the community members of Shafter and Kern County. PIT graduates can use their certificates of completion to help launch their careers into potentially higher-paying roles with companies like the Wonderful Business Units and our Wonderful Logistics Center Partners. However, we cannot promise that the program will lead to employment. The PIT program is an unpaid, free training program. Trainees are taught the basics of forklift training through lectures, videos, and hands-on activities. Graduates are awarded a certificate of successful completion through Bakersfield College. We are looking for individuals with life or work experience in problem-solving who are not afraid to work with equipment or technology. If you are willing to learn and work hard, this training is for you! This is an unpaid, forklift training certification program and does not guarantee employment or a higher-paying position.
Requirements
- Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must complete an interview process to be eligible to be selected to participate in the program.
