About The Position
The Forklift Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance on industrial equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, scissor lifts, tuggers, floor scrubbers and golf carts. Crown, Yale, Electric Forklift Repair experience is required. The technician will maintain industrial mobile equipment, troubleshoot equipment failures, and complete all repairs in a timely manner according to manufacturer’s guidelines. The role involves inspecting equipment, providing communication to supervisors and co-workers, and ensuring timely completion of work orders and service records. The technician will also maintain accurate work hour entries in the Paylocity time keeping platform.
