Forklift / PIT Operators – Talent Pool Michigan
About The Position
We are building a talent pool of certified and experienced forklift and PIT operators to support upcoming warehouse, manufacturing, and distribution projects. Opportunities may be short-term, long-term, or temp-to-hire and may involve operating various types of powered industrial equipment. What You’ll Typically Do: Forklift operation (sit-down, stand-up, reach, cherry picker, pallet jack) Loading and unloading materials and products Material movement and inventory staging Order picking and warehouse support Equipment inspections and basic maintenance Working safely in fast-paced warehouse environments
Requirements
- Previous forklift or PIT operation experience and/or certification
- Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environments
- Ability to operate equipment safely and follow OSHA safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Willingness to work various shifts, including overtime as required
- Drug screen required
Nice To Haves
- Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS)
