About The Position

The Forklift Operator position at Tyson Foods is a full-time role located in Enid, OK. The job involves product movement within the facility and loading products for shipment. Operators will be responsible for operating machinery, ensuring ongoing production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The position starts at $18.35 per hour with an additional shift differential of $0.65 for the second shift.

Requirements

• Must have 6 months of work history with one employer in the past 24 months
• Willingness and ability to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile equipment operation
• Maintain lock out tag out certification
• Conduct stacking, inspections, material checks, racking, and rack pushing
• Become certified in pallet jack, fall protection, and forklift operation
• Complete required training or tasks using basic computer skills
• Stand, sit, bend, walk, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat, and reach as needed
• Lift, carry, push, and pull weights between 20-70 pounds
• Work in cold (10 degrees below zero) or damp environments with slippery surfaces
• Work overtime and weekends as required
• Read and understand labels, recipes, and instructions, and communicate effectively
