About The Position

The Forklift Operator position at Tyson Foods is a full-time role located in Enid, OK. This position starts at $18.35 per hour with an additional shift differential of $0.65 per hour for those working the second shift. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage product movement within the facility and load products for shipment. Operators will be required to operate machinery, maintain ongoing production flow, and ensure a safe working environment while adhering to Tyson's policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must have 6 months of work history with one employer in the past 24 months
• Willingness and ability to perform all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile equipment operation
• Maintain lock out tag out certification
• Conduct stacking, inspections, material checks, racking, and rack pushing
• Become certified in pallet jack, fall protection, and forklift operation
• Utilize basic computer skills to complete required training or tasks
• Stand, sit, bend, walk, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat, and reach as needed
• Lift, carry, push, and pull weights ranging from 20 to 70 pounds
• Work in cold (10 degrees below zero) or damp environments with potentially slippery surfaces
• Work overtime and weekends as required
• Read and understand labels, recipes, and instructions, and communicate effectively
