About The Position

The Forklift Operator position is available immediately in Greensboro, NC. The role involves working 12-hour shifts, with a rotation every 10 weeks between day and night shifts. The pay range for this position is between $17.47 and $23.23 per hour. The operator will be responsible for operating a sit-down forklift truck in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment, ensuring efficient handling of materials and adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of lift truck/forklift certification program.
  • Minimum of 1 year lift truck/clamp truck experience in a fast-paced logistics environment preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of mathematics.

Responsibilities

  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.
  • Must have proven experience working in a fast-paced warehouse/logistics environment.
  • Operate sit-down forklift truck.
  • Prior use of RF barcode reader and vehicle-mounted computer systems preferred.
  • Complete forklift certification program within 90 days of placement.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Work independently with little supervision.
  • Be certified in Lockout/Tag Out and Forklift Operation upon assignment.
