About The Position

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods, and transporting pallets and materials to designated areas. The role also involves receiving duties such as unloading incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, inspecting goods for damage, labeling and storing received items, and maintaining accurate records of received inventory. Additionally, the Forklift Operator will perform order pulling duties by accurately picking items from inventory based on order specifications, preparing orders for shipment, and assisting in cycle counts and inventory audits as needed. General warehouse support tasks include maintaining cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas, following safety protocols, and reporting any hazards or incidents.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
• 1+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
