About The Position

Wood is seeking a Forklift/Material Handler to join our team in Hebron, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for transferring and moving materials to storage and shipment areas. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to operate equipment effectively. The candidate will also assist with various tasks as needed, ensuring smooth operations within the facility.

Requirements

• Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.
• Must have knowledge and 6 months experience in operating forklifts.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to inspect equipment is required.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety regulations is essential.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transfer and move material to storage and shipment areas.
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily pre- and post-shift inspections of all equipment to ensure it is safely operable.
• Load finished bale products onto incoming trailers for shipment.
• Communicate with staff on mechanical and operational issues.
• Assist other crafts during downtime with non-operating activities.
• Perform general ground maintenance as needed.
