About The Position

As a Forklift Operator at Nestlé Purina, you will play a crucial role in our Davenport manufacturing facility, which is the largest pet food manufacturing site in the U.S. Your primary responsibilities will include operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, case picking products, and staging finished goods. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of forklift experience in a production, manufacturing, military, or related environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts with various attachments in a bustling warehouse.
• Load and unload trailers while ensuring weight distribution and load integrity.
• Move finished products from the production line to the correct warehouse locations.
• Case pick products using an RF scanner, hand wrap, and label them appropriately.
• Maintain a clean and safe production environment, including sanitation and cleaning tasks.
• Regularly lift items up to 55 pounds.
