About The Position
The position involves various responsibilities related to the movement and storage of goods within a warehouse environment. Employees will be required to move goods packed on pallets or in crates according to storage requirements and staging procedures. They will stack goods in the correct storage bays, ensuring that loads are properly secured and that material handling procedures are followed. Daily equipment checks, unloading materials from incoming vehicles, and disposal of waste materials are also part of the job. The role requires the ability to operate forklifts and other equipment, conduct inventories, and maintain a safe and clean workspace. The position may involve alternating between outdoor and indoor environments, exposing employees to environmental hazards.
