The core responsibilities of this role include: We are seeking a motivated Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The primary responsibility will be case picking orders to pallet using an electric pallet jack in a fast-paced environment. Performance is measured against production standards within our Labor Management System (LMS). You'll have the opportunity to cross-train in other warehouse functions, including loading/unloading shipments and/or operating equipment such as dock stockers, reach trucks, and clamp trucks.

Requirements

• 6+ months experience operating stand-up material handling equipment (electric pallet jack required; dock stocker, reach, clamp, or order picker experience a plus).
• Prior exposure to a WMS (Warehouse Management System) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, or SAP.
• Experience in production, manufacturing, quality control, or general warehouse operations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment 80% of specified shift.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
• Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
• Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.
• Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.
• Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
