About The Position

This is an entry-level position, but over time we’ll train you on the skills you’ll need to grow into new roles or departments. In this role, you’ll assist with daily plant operation and maintenance. If you’ve got the drive, we’ll help you to reach your goals. Wage : $18.00 + /hr w/ potential for overtime.

Requirements

• MUST HAVE PREVIOUS FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• A strong desire to grow, and the willingness to learn and work a variety of job tasks and equipment.
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently without direct supervision and has a positive attitude.
• Safety minded professional.
• Demonstrates good performance, attendance, and punctuality.
• Demonstrates the ability to work overtime and weekends/holidays as needed.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and efficiently within its designed parameters.
• Load and unload materials on and off trucks.
• Move materials around to different locations in a safe manner.
• Check equipment for safe operation.
• Assist other departments with maintenance, operations, and/or other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
• Promptly communicate with supervisors on any issues.
• Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions.
• Regular and timely attendance.
• Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment.
