About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to run yard operations at a structural metal fabrication facility in the Sanford, NC area. This is an outdoor position operating large forklifts to move, load, and unload material across the yard in all weather conditions.

Requirements

• Forklift certification required
• Experience operating large forklifts in a yard or outdoor setting
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Solid safety awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs

Responsibilities

• Operate large forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the yard and facility
• Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
• Stage and organize materials safely and efficiently
• Coordinate with shop and production teams to keep material flow on track
• Maintain a clean, safe yard environment
