About The Position
The Baillie Group is a cohesive, unified group of hardwood producers working cooperatively together. Clendenin Lumber Co., located in Donalds SC, is a leading manufacturer of hardwood lumber. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join their team as a first shift forklift operator. The position's primary responsibilities include operating a forklift in a large open warehouse to locate, organize, and move material as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an equipment operator using a forklift required
- Must be self motivated and organized
- Willingness to work in outside environment
- Willingness to work overtime
Nice To Haves
- Prefer someone who has at least 1 year of experience within the last 2 years
Responsibilities
- Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Locating/pulling/organizing loads of material needed for orders
- Ability to work independently
- Assist shipping dept. as needed for various duties
- Capable of working efficiently/safe as well as keeping a high level of precision
