We are seeking a Forklift Operator with LTL experience in Groveport, OH! This is a 3rd shift position, 4/10's Wednesday- Saturday from 7pm-5:30am. Benefits & PTO are available Day 1. Weekend availability is required, and possible overtime. Must be Forklift Certified (VALID OR INVALID). This is a Safety Sensitive Role. The role focuses on the movement of products throughout the warehouse using various types of Material Handling equipment. It requires the skills and experience to operate/drive manual handling equipment in accordance with local legislation, and will mostly require an externally accredited qualification/licence. Typical titles include Forklift operator, Equipment Operator, MHE Operator.

Requirements

Must be Forklift Certified
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year of previous warehouse experience
Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks and banding/shrink wrap material
Experience using a RF scan gun required
Must be able to work overtime as needed, occasional weekends
Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions well
Must have the ability to work well with others
High attention to detail required
Must be able to lift 50+lbs. unassisted
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English

Nice To Haves

LTL experience
Previous forklift certifications

Responsibilities

Utilizing manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers to load and unload trucks
Material handling may include one or more of the following: picking, packing, scanning, kitting (as applicable), counting products and other like duties
Must ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work is completed accurately
Identifying and annotating overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D)
Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jacks, etc.
Read and follow detailed and defined instructions in a fast-paced environment
Ensure safe and secure work environment including all TSA and OSHA guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned.
