Job Summary: The primary responsibility of this position is moving completed pallets from the lines. The pallets must be shrink wrapped and placed to be stacked or loaded onto trucks. Additional purpose could also entail moving completed pallets from the staging area and triple stacking them in the freezers. This is a full-time, permanent position with Reddy Ice that includes a competitive hourly wage, a full benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a company-matching 401(k) plan. Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Must be certified as a forklift operator
Must be able to lift and stack up to 45lbs throughout 12-hour shift.
Must be able to work in room with temperatures of 45 – 60 degrees.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Moving completed pallets from the lines.
Shrink wrapping pallets and placing them to be stacked or loaded onto trucks.
Moving completed pallets from the staging area and triple stacking them in the freezers.
