About The Position

Tamarack Foods is looking to hire a full-time Forklift Operator . Would you like to work for an established food manufacturing company with a great reputation and a family-like environment? Our Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to maneuver totes of product between areas to ensure proper loading of product for shipments.

Requirements

2 years forklift experience
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Able to stand on concrete for up to 10 hours.
Experience in inventory and record keeping.
High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with the Manager to ensure all product is 100% accounted for proper traceability.
Supplying materials to production lines.
Directly assist in ensuring all shipments to and from the plant are properly documented.
Assist the Warehouse Supervisor when needed to complete maintenance tasks.
Ensure product does not have any risk of becoming cross contaminated with other allergens prior to loading or unloading lots.
Maintain Forklifts in clean and sanitary condition.
Follow all shipping instructions required by each specific customer.
Load trailers in accordance with all legal weight requirements.
Report, document and correct any discrepancies to customer or regulatory guidelines.
Operate all forklifts, man-lifts, and scissor-lifts in accordance with company safety policies.
Know and follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
