About The Position

Basic Function: To control the movement and flow of materials in a production environment in order to produce for TMF customers in a timely manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates a sit-down LP truck
• Controls the flow of materials within department/plant
• Keeps the department stocked with parts, containers, etc.
• Keeps work area clean and organized - removing clutter, trash, and recycling
• Maintenance and daily safety inspections of the forklift
• Stocking inventory and updating in computer
• Other duties as assigned
• Exhibits consistent safe working habits
• Wears all required PPE
• Practices safe work habits
• Aware of and properly uses light guards, emergency stops, etc. for safe machine operation.
• Maintains clean, clutter-free work areas
• Operates at or above company quality standards
• Consistently practices inspection procedures as set forth in quality manual
