Requirements
- Previous relevant forklift experience (capacity of at least 5,000 lbs.)
- A positive attitude
- A strong safety mindset
- Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment

Nice To Haves
- Experience loading and unloading commodities from trucks or railcars an asset
- Experience working in a steel yard is an asset
Responsibilities
- Operate high capacity forklifts and other equipment as required
- Perform labor tasks as needed
- Loading and unloading product from railcars and trucks
- Support inventory control (inbound/outbound/on ground) and accurately document
- Ability to prepare load plans for railcar, truck and/or container
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment
- Inspect and verify product condition to ensure cleanliness and compliance with loading procedures
- Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew
