About The Position
Temp Forklift Operator (3rd Shift) Location: Muscatine, IA Compensation: $20.50/hour + Overtime Shift: Sunday – Thursday | 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM Type: Temp-to-Hire (Eligible for permanent hire after 3 months ) Earn PTO firs day of work and use on day 60. ?Mandatory Qualifications Work History: Must have proven longevity on resume for consideration. We are looking for candidates with a consistent track record and minimal gaps or frequent job changes. Experience: Minimum 3 years of warehouse forklift experience (must be listed on current resume). Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Background: Must pass a comprehensive 7-year background check. Screening: Must pass a drug screen, physical, and Stress Test (CRT) . Essential Duties Logistics: Pick, prepare, and load outgoing orders; unload trailers and verify product counts. Inventory: Move and store merchandise to maximize space; maintain accurate movement records. Equipment: Operate forklifts and specialized attachments; perform daily safety checks. Compliance: Follow strict food safety (FSMA) standards and sanitation protocols. Communication: Coordinate with supervisors regarding shift transitions and productivity. Physical Requirements & Environment Physical Demand: Frequently mount/dismount forklift; bend, stoop, and lift 50–60 lbs occasionally. Environment: Food-grade warehouse; dusty and humid conditions. Temperature: Ranges from 40°F to 90°F seasonally. Allergens: Exposure to odors and food allergens, specifically soy and wheat .
