About The Position

Maersk Ground Freight (MGF) provides transportation services including FTL, LTL, brokerage, cross-border trucking, groupage, and sortation hubs, connecting various facilities through a robust network. This network supports multi-channels like B2B, B2C, e-commerce, and more. The company is seeking a Forklift Operator with LTL experience in Groveport, OH, for a 3rd shift (Wednesday-Saturday, 7pm-5:30am). This is a Safety Sensitive Role focused on the movement of products throughout the warehouse using various types of Material Handling equipment, requiring skills and experience to operate/drive manual handling equipment in accordance with local legislation and an externally accredited qualification/licence.

Requirements

Must be Forklift Certified
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks and banding/shrink wrap material
Experience using a RF scan gun required
Must be able to work overtime as needed, occasional weekends
Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions well
Must have the ability to work well with others
High attention to detail required
Must have the ability to work well with others with little supervision
Must be able to lift 50+lbs. unassisted
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English

Nice To Haves

Previous warehouse experience preferred - 1 year experience
Previous forklift certifications preferred

Responsibilities

Utilizing manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers to load and unload trucks
Material handling may include one or more of the following: picking, packing, scanning, kitting (as applicable), counting products and other like duties
Must ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work is completed accurately
Identifying and annotating overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D)
Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jacks, etc.
Read and follow detailed and defined instructions in a fast-paced environment
Ensure safe and secure work environment including all TSA and OSHA guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned.
