Forklift Operator
About The Position
Operates and maintains forklift truck to insure a safe and efficient operation. Communicate and coordinate with previous shift driver and relief driver. Proper and thorough turn-over. Learn yard layout Learn/Know proper marking and identification of pipe. Complete moving and handling of XL Systems Products in accordance to company procedures Ensure proper procedures for cleaning and installing thread protectors. Obtain basic knowledge of threads. Return tools to proper places at the end of each shift. Perform preoperational checks on forklifts and report all service concerns. Complete routine maintenance of equipment Delivery of proper material around yard as directed via procedures or supervisor. Maintain a steady flow of material through the yard. Perform preoperational checks on forklifts and report all service concerns. Perform all tasks and duties in harmony with other employees to create and maintain a safe working environment. Ensure compliance of the company’s QHSE policies, and corporate code and overall company’s objectives Other duties as defined by Facility Materials Manager.
