About The Position

The Forklift Operator safely, accurately and efficiently loads and unloads trailers in our warehouse facilities. They operate sit-down lifts, utilize RF scan guns, pallet wrappers, dock levers, and tablets. These Forklift Operators are expected to maintain our 5S system as well as the integrity and optimization of our warehouse workspace.

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of warehouse/shipping forklift experience
• High School Diploma required
• Able to understand work orders and instructions
• Must take initiative and work independently with minimal direction
• Must plan and organize for efficient flow based on the production schedule
• Successfully complete and maintain the OSHA forklift certification training
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately load and unload trailers
• Scan products and read pick tickets
• Maintain storage row optimization and inventory accuracy
• Complete data tracking process documentation and submit to Warehouse Lead
• Perform daily safety and maintenance inspections of equipment, submit daily checklist, and conduct end of shift wipe downs
• Operate equipment safely and within OSHA guidelines
• Assist in training of newly added Forklift Operators
• Complete other duties as assigned by Lead and Management
