About The Position

About the Role: The Forklift Operator role at the Carrollton location will be r esponsible for accurately handling all inbound raw materials, inbound finished and outbound finished goods . You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: Inspect, date, record, and mark all inbound receipts Stock inbound receipts in designated storage areas Rotate raw materials and packaging supplies. FIFO (First In First Out) Conduct inventory counts on packaging and raw materials Pick, count and ship finished goods accurately on assigned shifts. Accurately unload, separate, count and stock incoming finished goods. Assist with inventory control of finished products. Monitor quality control of products and do not ship damaged goods. Change forklift batteries to insure proper charging. Employees must adhere to all company policies, plant rules and safety regulations as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Comply with FDA, OSHA, EPA and all other regulatory agencies.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Ability to operate a stand-up reach forklift
  • Must have the ability to read and understand production schedules and procedures
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations to count product and fill orders
